Easter Cantata Read-Through

Nick and I are pulling together a team of musicians to read through the Easter Cantata in March. It’s very exciting! We have a cello instead of a viola, however, and I’ve been rewriting the viola parts for the cello. It’s been so interesting revisiting the choices I made for a voice which essentially blends so well. Now, listening to a more prominent voice in that part, it's amazing how the chords sound so different that often they need to be changed. I’ve finished the Crucifixion and I’m about halfway through the Resurrection. I need to finish this quickly so I can get back to my other projects, but I’m still enjoying this process.
