Knitting again!

December slipped by pretty quickly, and now, it’s Ukrainian Christmas and I still don’t feel like getting back to work. I’m plodding along with the new aria for the Easter Cantata. I’ve got one of my old synthesizers attached to the Korg and I’m having a blast reacquainting myself with the old familiar sounds, but because of all my technology hassles since the Mac blew up, I can’t record them properly. I’m thinking about a workaround but I know it’ll be clumsy.

In the meantime, I’ve taken up knitting again! I finished a hood which didn’t look right, so I took it apart and made a beret instead which is very nice. I finished one pair of slippers – way too large! And I’m just finishing a pair of socks and starting some mittens. What fun! Nick is getting his loom set up so he can do weaving again. It’s been a great way to spend the Christmas holidays!
